Wedding Cookies
1 cup butter softened
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons water
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Whip butter; add vanilla and water. Stir in flour and nuts. Form into 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for 15-20 minutes. Cool, then shake a few cookies at a time in a bag with the powdered sugar. These are also yummy if shaped however you like and dipped into or piped with melted chocolate.
