Red Cabbage Salad
1 large head red cabbage, sliced and chopped
4 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
1 cup sliced almonds, toasted
4 green onions, chopped (optional)
2 packages Top Ramen Noodles (chicken flavored)
Toast sesame seeds and almonds, cool and set aside. Chop cabbage and green onions. When ready to serve, mix cabbage, seeds, nuts and broken up noodles. Pour on dressing and toss.
Dressing:
4 tablespoons sugar
6 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon pepper
2 seasoning packets from the noodles
